So, it's been nearly a month since I have updated this blog...oops! If you want more regular updates, I strongly suggest you look into my other blog, To Hell and Back...A Dog Story. It is documenting and telling the story of me rehabilitating my German Shepherd Dog Addie. It (should) also has some tips, tricks, recipes, reviews, and helpful tidbits through out the blog. So yea, if you want regular updates go there. Otherwise feel free to stay here and catch all the "other" stuff.
So anyway...taking a leaf out of America's blog book (even if she hasn't ACTUALLY blogged yet) here's an entry about something and exciting I have never done before but tried for the first time: Raving!
A few friends of mine are huge ravers and they invited me and America to a rave in Atlanta with them this past Valentine's Day week, so a group of 5 of us went and let me tell you, It was amazingly fun! I've recently taken a huge liking to Ballroom, Swing, and Shag dancing; swing to be more precise. So I didn't really know how much I would like raving, which is generally a dancing thing you do by yourself.
It was super fun though, and we all got dressed up for it! My two huge raver friends already had their outfits before, but the rest of us had to get something semi-presentable together, so a weekend before the event the girls all went shopping to get things together. I had these awesome blue hair falls in, and America was going for a Cleopatra/Egyptian Goddess look. There was lots of teal and gold in her outfit (which was surprisingly conservative and "normal" looking by comparison to ours). Another friend of mine had this cute corset and skirt and she wore these amazing cyber hair falls and got tons and tons of compliments on them!
All in all it was an amazing experience. I was EXHAUSTED after 4 hours of straight dancing, but it was so worth it and I fully plan to do it again. Maybe not every month, but definitely a few times a year! =D
