North, South Carolina is 90 miles from Due West...what?

This is the first "real" blog post in this new blog, and hopefully there will be many more and significantly more hilarious ones to come.  A friend of mine sent me a video on Facebook that is from one of Bill Cosby's shows from back in the day.  Now this wouldn't be particularly amusing, if you didn't understand the guest on this show.

The guest on this particular show is Ms. Marsha Brody.  Now Bill doesn't realize this yet, but he is about to get a huge brain fuck by Ms. Marsha and she isn't even going to realize she's doing it.

To help you understand this video a bit more, you need a little bit more information about myself and where I am from.  I have lived in South Carolina, USA my entire life.  Ms. Marsha is also from South Carolina and has several sisters who still lived here.  Now, South Carolina, being the true and good southern place that it is, has some very interesting names for it's towns and such.  This plays a key part in this video.  To give you an example, there is a town in South Carolina called Welcome. I shit you not.  You can Google it and you will see it very close to Greenville, SC!  They have very amusing signs there that say "Welcome to Welcome!"  This is just ONE example of silly town names in South Carolina.  They get better!

There is another town in South Carolina call Due West.  That is the towns name. Due West.  It isn't Due West of anything in particular as far as I know. I just know it is Due West. Always has been and probably always will be. There is another town in South Carolina called North.  Yes. North. As in "I live in the town of North in South Carolina."  The town of North is approximately 90 miles south east of the town of Due West.  These are key details to understanding what Ms. Marsha is talking about.  Bill had no hope of understanding and just received a giant brain fuck.  His poor poor raped brain.  It's no wonder some of he had weird pauses in his stand up.  This woman fucked his brain and he can't think anymore!!

First Blog Post Ever...

Okay, that's probably a lie.  I have a Livejournal and I guess that technically does count as a blog...I also probably had some kind of blog in high school, but that was too long ago to remember. I had a Deadjournal too. Does that count?  I don't know. Oh well.

Here's the first Blog Post EVER!! I'll honestly probably be using it to get things set up how I would like them.  Sorry this one isn't so interesting...we'll see what I can blog about later.

I have a feeling this might be a catch all for pretty much anything and all things that I find amusing and interesting. Just to give you a heads up, here are some things that I find interesting that yo might find interesting too!  Japan, Anime, Cartoons, Video Games, World of Warcraft, Dogs, Cats, Animals, Science, Math, Grammar, Baking, Cooking, Alton Brown, TV Shows, Supernatural, True Blood, Merlin, Stargate, Battlestar Galactica, and various other things. I also like Burn Notice which is more normal-ish.  But yes...just to give you an idea of things that may or may not be included in this blog, there you go. I make no promises to talk about any of those, but it's highly possible that they may be discussed.

I'm also going to try extremely hard to NOT let this be a place where lost of whining and QQing occurs (QQ...Quit Crying...also qq can look like eyes crying if you squint your eyes, tilt your head to the side and do the chicken dance.  It's a technical term. along with L2...meaning Learn to...GAME MORE PEOPLE!!) I have an LJ (Livejournal) for that. Most of my posts are me or friends only though, but we'll see how it goes.

Anyway...random tangent ended.  I will try to make a REAL humorous blog post after I get a grasp on what's going on here. See and talk with your later ambiguous YOU out there!
